Privacy

A simple, quiet site.

Lakes Area Connect is a free community guide. This site has no accounts, email signup, analytics, advertising trackers or cookies.

What stays in your browser

The garden checklist remembers the boxes you check in your own browser so you can come back to it. Nothing is sent to us or synced. Use “Reset checklist” to clear it.

What the host sees

Like any website, the company that serves these pages keeps short-lived technical logs, such as an IP address, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Links to other sites

Facebook, organizer, city, county and source links open their own services, which have their own privacy practices.

If this ever changes

If email updates or anything else that collects information is added, this page will say what is collected, who provides the service and how to opt out, before it starts.

Questions or corrections: message the Lakes Area Connect Facebook Page. Last updated October 16, 2026.
