Sources & corrections
Useful details you can check.
Dates, hours and local notices can change. Each guide keeps the source close to the information and tells you when it was checked.
Start with the source.
City, county, extension, venue and organizer pages guide factual local coverage. Community memories and suggestions can lead to a story; they need their own context and verification.
Keep dates visible.
Event guides carry the event year, dates, local time and a source link. Old guides stay dated. A photograph of a place does not establish its current access, weather or condition.
Correct plainly.
A material correction should explain what changed, give the corrected detail and link to its source. A small copy fix should preserve the meaning.
Tell pictures honestly.
Documentary photographs carry credits and required license links. Illustrations and 3D renders are never passed off as photographs. They should not imply a real event, property condition or approved city plan.
Label sponsorship.
Any sponsored placement needs a clear label. Editorial coverage and paid placement stay separate.
