Before the camper moves, do the four-count. 1. Time: Tuesday Early Access check-in at the listed campground tollbooths runs 10 AM to 10 PM. VIP check-in is listed separately, so confirm your pass type. 2. Passes: every person camping needs both a festival ticket and a Camp Access wristband. A campsite does not include either one. 3. Vehicles arriving early can be removed and penalized. After noon, stay in the vehicle and do not set up chairs, grills, or a roadside camp. 2. CAMPGROUND CHECK-IN: Monday has no campground access. Early Access check-in runs Tuesday from 10 AM to 10 PM. All campers can check in Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 10 PM. 3. THURSDAY TRAFFIC: County Highway 22 becomes one-way southbound. Blue Ox and Viking campers arriving Thursday or later should approach from the north. 5. SHUTTLES AND PARKING: Hilltop and Detroit Lakes Chamber shuttles run Thursday through Saturday. Day parking allows one entry per day, and vehicles must leave by 2:30 AM. 6. Some parade stories start with a marching band. This one starts with an empty street. A few folding chairs appeared along the Detroit Lakes lakefront. Then tents. Then families finding their places. By one o'clock, the route was ready. And then the flags came around the corner. The 90th Parade of the Northwest brought color guards, fire crews, marching music, youth groups, local businesses, and plenty of water along the route on Sunday.
